Watts was appointed as project manager and contract administrator for the refurbishment of this Erno Goldfinger designed building. A high quality refurbishment scheme was developed which paid detailed attention to Goldfinger’s design principles. This ensured local authority approval of the works as the building is Listed. Careful coordination of services and ingenious design ensured the provision of a modern office interior to this 1950s building.
Watts’ brief was to provide a high quality office refurbishment of the vacant floors and all common parts of the property. The key challenge was to complete a substantial refurbishment, with restricted access, in a partly occupied building.
