Watts was appointed as project manager to develop the master plan and secure consent for the redevelopment of Beeston Business Park in Nottingham. Through strong leadership of a team of specialists including urban design sustainability, traffic ground remediation and environmental consultants, Watts has driven the project towards obtaining outline planning consent for the redevelopment. Management of the key risks and external stakeholders has been crucial to maximising value for investors.
The brief was to produce a master plan for redevelopment of a 170,000 sq m business park, to maintain existing tenants and attract new occupiers. Watts’ team of consultants developed the plan to maximise investor value and meet the requirements of external third parties. The proposed development consists of 56,000 sq m of office and industrial space.
