Watts was appointed to replace the original single-glazed aluminium windows with powder coated aluminium double glazed units, to comply with current thermal regulations. The glazed doors adjacent were renewed in similar materials to meet current standards for means of escape in case of fire and for disabled access. The door security system for the main entrance doors was also renewed to provide a secure entrance lobby.
Watts was appointed to provide a full service to design, specify and carry out contract administration for the renewal of single glazed aluminium doors and windows with replacement powder coated aluminium double glazed units. Watts also provided a CDM coordination service.
