Watts was commissioned to design and project manage
an extension on to Cockburn High School. The extension (Phase 1)
was required to facilitate the construction of a second extension
(Phase 2), which had been designed by the council architects. Following
a very short fee-tendering procedure, the design was prepared in
conjunction with structural, and mechanical and electrical engineers.
Watts procured the building works through a traditional
contracting route and the project was completed on target and within
the specified budget. This paved the way for Phase 2 to commence
shortly afterwards. |
