The client was moving their entire operation from the south to the north terminal, at Gatwick Airport. As part of the programme, Watts was instructed to project manage the completion of the new facilities, prior to a fixed relocation date. By liaising closely with various client representatives and a number of BAA stakeholders, a high quality end product was achieved with zero operational impact.
Watts’ brief was to provide project management services for the fit out of
470 sq m of offices for administrative and operations staff, together with 20 new check in desks, new ticket sales desk and mezzanine level support areas within the terminal.
