Watts acted as project
manager for a fit-out on Las Rozas
Business Campus development and
liaised with the contractor and
management team on behalf of the
client, an international bank.
Watts' local knowledge
of the construction industry strengthened
the relationship between the bank's
design team and the building owner's
team. Once the fit-out was completed,
Watts continued to
manage the project for more than
a year, overseeing the making good
of defects and providing support
to the bank's facilities manager.
The project consisted of the fit-out
of 7,500 sq m of office space,
including: technical communication
rooms, conference rooms, a café,
and a restaurant. The fit-out commenced
prior to the completion
of the base-build and
was carried out within three months. It included important modifications to the
landlord's mechanical and electrical systems to provide
100% back up to the bank's operations. |
