The developer of a new office scheme agreed to provide the client with a fully fitted out office, with the exception of all loose furniture, fittings and equipment, which would remain under the client’s control. Watts prepared the tenant requirements document and liaised with the developer’s team in establishing the scope of works and costs. Watts ensured all the client’s direct items were incorporated in the new fitted-out office. All 350 staff were relocated over a weekend without any delay or disruption. Watts also tendered the removals contract.
The client organisation occupied four separate locations around Dublin city centre comprising 350 staff. They required a new modern single location HQ and were keen to move from cellular offices to a new open plan arrangement for everyone from the chairman down through the organisation. The client was keen for the new office to reflect current best practice and to incorporate modern contemporary furniture and finishes to reflect their outlook and brand.
