Rushden Lakes is a proposed new campus development on the derelict site of a former leisure centre, adjoining a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) in Rushden Northamptonshire. When Watts was appointed, the scheme had existing outline planning consent which the client wanted to develop and revise to meet market requirements. The project was completed under tight timescales due to the impending expiration of the planning consent.
Watts was appointed to complete technical due diligence on a new commercial campus redevelopment with outline planning approval and was subsequently appointed as project manager to take the project forward with detailed planning through to completion.
