Watts carried out a feasibility study for the replacement and upgrade of all mechanical and electrical services to the entire Town Hall Complex. Watts acted as lead consultant, coordinating specialist services, including sustainability consultants, as well as providing general building fabric, programming and cost consultancy advice.
Careful consideration was given to sustainability issues and to carrying out the works in phases while the building remained in occupation. Regard was given to the Grade II Listed nature of the Town Hall and there was detailed consultation with the conservation officer. |
