Following the provision of retail design management services, Watts was instructed to prepare
a ‘blue chip’ tenant handbook for the Whitewater shopping centre. The development, located in
Newbridge, is one of the largest shopping centres in the Republic of Ireland, outside of
Dublin. The centre comprises two shopping levels, three anchor units, 50 individual retail
units and seven food court outlets as well as seating for up to 700 people.
Watts’ brief was to attend project design team meetings from project procurement stage onwards.
Following a number of months of attending these meetings, developing relationships and working
closely with the various disciplines, a 'blue chip' market-leading tenant handbook was compiled.
