Watts was appointed by the client to undertake a due diligence survey on a variety of industrial properties based in the North and North West of England. The properties were recently constructed to a high standard. Watts also had to review technical papers and general documentation.
Watts was instructed to undertake a full investigation of each unit of the portfolio and to liaise with solicitors to discuss technical issues arising from warranties. Watts was also asked to undertake a fire insurance valuation on each property, as well as report on issues with various consultants and sub consultants to provide a coordinated approach to the client.
