Watts was appointed to advise on accessibility issues
at Bath Racecourse, in light of the Disability Discrimination Act
1995 and the extra requirements coming into effect in October 2004. Watts
considered the services provided by the client at
the racecourse and site itself. As such, a detailed review of the
racecourse as a whole was provided.
The racecourse has been altered and extended on a phased basis
over several decades. Watts reviewed the site as a
whole in terms of accessibility and provided advice at a strategic
level. |
