The client agreed to purchase a two-storey office pavillion providing approximately 1,700 sq m of shell office space for occupation. Watts was instructed to undertake an initial appraisal of the development, followed by regular monitoring and monthly reports to the client until practical completion and handover.
Watts’ brief was to review all available construction related documentation including contract specification and drawing information, and statutory consents. Watts undertook a site inspection as well as reporting to the client on quality, materials, programme and any contract related risks, updating on a monthly basis.
