Watts was appointed to complete a purchaser’s survey of 6-8 Nordholmen. The property is a single-storey industrial unit with ancillary offices and storage at first floor level. The building, once under single occupation, has been sub-let to a variety of tenants. Watts coordinated the inspection with the assistance of local mechanical and electrical services consultants. A due diligence survey was completed and reports presented in English.
Watts’ brief was to carry out a due diligence survey and to report on the condition of the properties, together with a detailed assessment of its general features, form of construction and state of repair. Watts was also required to prepare budget costings for the repair and maintenance works and to prepare a fire insurance valuation.
