Watts was appointed to attend site and undertake a building inspection of Heathcote Industrial Estate and provide summary reports followed by a main report. The client was considering the purchase of the freehold interest in the warehouse and was planning to add this particular property to an existing industrial portfolio fund. Watts liased carefully with the client at the bank who was ultimately going to be involved in funding the purchase.
Watts’ brief was to carry out a building survey and fire insurance valuation, as well as undertaking some additional research into manufacturers products and materials used on site.
