The No. 9 Orange Street project entailed refurbishment and extension of existing space to provide high specification office accommodation. Watts provided full pre and post contract quantity surveying duties. Part of the service included the agreement of beneficial works carried out by our client on behalf of the neighbouring Comedy Theatre.

The works incorporated new cladding, a rooftop glass enclosure and a stonework entrance. It also featured the refurbishment of dressing rooms attached to the adjacent Comedy Theatre. Close liaison with the theatre's representatives was needed in order to satisfy their requirements and the works were completed with tenants in occupation.

 

Beneficial works were made to the ground and basement floors for a theatre production company who occupied them.
