Watts was instructed by the client to provide project monitoring services and acquisition surveys for the property. The development is located on
the Zac des Bords de la Durance, near Cavaillon in southern France. The project involved the purchase of a property currently under
construction. The property comprises a 1,883 sq m office building, a 1,500 sq m workshop and a 12,000 sq m freight depot, including 3 000 sq m
of cold storage facility.
Watts’ brief was to act as surveyor for the investor. This meant ensuring that the correct procedures were met for delivery and handover of the
project. Watts also carried out snagging of the building on behalf of the owner.
