Mark Ratcliff is a chartered building surveyor and joined Watts in 2004.
Based in the London office, Mark specialises in compliance services including
DDA, fire and asbestos.
Mark is also a qualified access consultant. He has been involved in a
wide range of access-related projects, including audit, strategic advice
and implementation. He has also written a surveyors handbook on the DDA,
published by the RICS, in addition to contributing to the RICS's ISERV.
Mark also specialises in other compliance services including asbestos
management. Experience includes undertaking Type one, two and three surveys,
preparation of management plans and contract administration and management
of asbestos removal contracts.
Fire risk management experience includes the undertaking of high-level
fire risk assessments.Mark is becoming increasingly involved in European
property due diligence with the expanding European property investment
market. Property inspections have been undertaken across Germany, France,
Spain, The Netherlands and Sweden.
Mark is also experienced in all aspects of commercial building surveying
including: building condition and acquisition surveys; contract work;
insurance damage reinstatement; party wall matters; and planned programmes
of maintenance.
