Paul
trained within the department of architecture and civic design
of the GLC while graduating with a diploma in Building Surveying
from the Polytechnic of the South Bank. He worked in local government
before joining the firm as a senior surveyor in 1979.
He has a particular interest in technical issues and particularly
occupational safety and health. For twenty years he has been
a noted expert on asbestos hazards. Over the past decade he has
widened this into a health and safety specialism and has been
a lead practitioner in the development of planning supervisor
services .
Paul is a prolific writer and speaker on technical issues and in the
framing of good practice and policy. He became a partner in 1995.
