The role of the contract administrator is to act impartially and
with fairness in respect of the contracting parties. While
employed by the client, the contract administrator maintains a
duty of care to the contractor at all times in administering the
building contract. The aim is to deliver the project objectives
smoothly and with minimal dispute.
The contract administrator takes a hands-on approach to all
aspects of the project delivery and has direct input to the
design and specification of the works.
