Watts was appointed by loss adjustors, and subsequently solicitors, acting for the insurers of a window manufacturer who in the course of replacing windows in terraces of housing association houses, inadvertently disturbed asbestos containing materials and whom are facing a claim for substantial costs arising from the need to vacate and decontaminate the properties.
We were required to review the various documents and information and to give an initial opinion on the potential liability of the window installer and his subcontractors.
